Newborn resuscitation is a complication occurring approximately in 1% of deliveries. Proper initial assessment and stabilization of the newborn play a crucial role in following postnatal transition and in further clinical outcome. For this reason, we present to you the following algorithm to practice the entire process, including necessary equipment check, transition and newborn resuscitation in accordance with the European Resuscitation Council Guidelines 2021: New-born resuscitation and support of transition of infants at birth.
